Ganga Jatra, Tirupati’s annual folk festival, brings people from near and far off places to the city. It is dedicated to goddess Gangamma and lasts for an entire week. The most visited temple in the world, Tirumala Lord Venkateswara Temple, hosts a nine day festival every year.
